Testing

In our test center principle investigations, overload tests and durability testing of modules, from the concept vehicles through the prototypes of the different development stages are carried out.

The integration of testing into the early phase of the development activities is particularly important for the correlation of simulation models through Finite Element Methods and contributes to the verification of the computation results.

Strain measurements are also recorded for the calculation of stresses and loads in components and structures, Wöhler- or fatigue characteristics can be determined. The testing takes place on different test rigs depending on the experiment setups. At present most vehicle tests are carried out on multi-channel test rigs.
